We’re a small company best suited to individuals who want to make their mark in the XR world, as well as contributing to, and sharing in the company’s commercial success. 

The Role

Estimate 25-30 hours per month

Month-end checks

  • Review/act on accruals, monitoring GP margins
  • Review/act on payables and receivables
  • Check cash balance for upcoming payments
  • Work with accountants on bank reconciliation
    - Collating missing information
    - Answering ad-hoc questions

Management accounts, quarterly

  • Work with accountants to ensure accuracy/completeness
    - Emphasis on accruals
    - Checking balance sheet movement/items as well as P&L


  • Review and check/approve VAT schedules provided by accountants

Year end

  • Work with accountants to ensure accuracy/completeness
    - Compare to quarterly
    - Checking balance sheet movement/items as well as P&L
  • Coordinate R&D tax credit claim if required


  • Keep payroll department up to date with staff changes etc.
  • Respond to monthly email request for updates
  • Check the payroll and pay slips when provided
  • Set up the payments in Revolut
  • Deal with ad hoc queries from staff and from accountants


  • Write financial aspect of Shareholder report
  • Join Shareholder meetings from time to time to add financial commentary
  • Provide governance advice and support
  • Support on share option matters


  • Work with accountants and team to support payables system
  • Make payment twice a month
  • Deal with arising matters such as missing payment details
  • Payables may move to another person in which case this role should be able to monitor/instruct with a lighter touch

General / ad-hoc

  • Business planning/budgeting
  • Commercial analysis and advice to team
  • Financial and commercial information for corporate process as required
  • Occasional cash flow forecasts
  • Bonus scheme advice and analysis
  • Support CEO with FX process and decisions
  • Commercial/financial support to CEO as required
  • Join weekly team meeting
